Wei ada update wei
Cheap yet yummy food always excites me! That is why I cannot stress how meal times are ALWAYS a joy whenever we’re in Thailand coz not only is it cheap, it’s most definitely yummy to the core!
No other countries close by comes close to that……noneee, not even in Malaysia no matter how one might say we’re a food haven siap with the shitty #foodporn tag, whoever the hell thought about that seriously…food is food, porn is porn why would anyone akin food to porn is beyond me. Some people need to get laid, seriously
Anyway, I was hoping she would sleep on board but nope, she chose to sleep during our cabbie ride to LCCT instead!
Safe to say, going on flights with her have become a whole lot easier now. Perhaps it’s time we venture even further?
Right so I’ll have the nasi lemak with extra sambal please. Like NOW. Flight time was only 2.5 hours which is another reason to love Thailand. If I haven’t already given you a million other reasons :D Sorry but when we grow old and grey, we’re moving to Thailand. I just hope by then, foreigners will be allowed to own properties there.
Since I have a small obsession with Mccafe, god knows how that came about (cough cheap coffee cough), making a stop here is of course inevitable. It helps that MCDonalds is just opposite our hotel and this was our first stop upon reaching CM.
Maybe one day I’ll be able to cover more McCafes around the world. One day. Now that I’m almost a lady of leisure, that shall be my dream, oh yes!
My standard Caramel Macchiato to the right. Mmm sinfully delicious.
Of course, my baby girl had a healthy snack of banana for tea time And perhaps a french fry or two coz hey we’re in MCDonalds for god’s sake.
Ba ba ba…ba nanana.
This is how Chang Klan district looks almost everyday! Traders set up their stalls around 5pm every freaking day and by night you’ll get a massive amount of eager shoppers looking out for a great bargain and yes, shopping in CM is relatively cheap with almost no bargaining indeed. Unless you’re even cheaper than us. The horror. And mind you, this is just in front of our hotel. It’s like the minute you’re out of the hotel, you can already shop and get massages too. Now tell me if that’s not heavenish enough?!
Taking a moment to pray. Bless my darling girl.
Dear God, please get mommy and daddy to take me to Disneyland so I can see my bf Goofy in the flesh. Khop Khun Ka.
I usually do have an itineary done whever we go but this time I decided to just wing it considering this was our second trip. We let our driver take us to this restaurant that’s located quite far off from our hotel and have no regrets dining here.
Food was totally amazing and we only paid around RM45 for all that (and with drinks mind you!).
Love shape rice. It’s all in the lil details peepz. Yes I love you Thailand.
The ‘thai’ hubby very happy with his meal. Too bad I don’t remember the name of this restaurant but you can get a one dish meal for a mere RM5 here. And it’s a decently done up restaurant too.
This was one of our ‘light’ dinners although for someone who’s fat to call it ‘light’ is kinda questionable, heh. When in Chiang Mai, one definitely has to eat Khao Soi. But I dare say my version is nicer This was at the Kalare food court near our hotel. I think you get the picture by now…we dined alot nearby our hotel coz we stayed at the most happening road la what else :D
Thai style chicken satay which madam loved.
It was raining when we wanted to walk around to find a new spot to eat but couldn’t so naturally we seeked shelter in MCDs again. And this would be her first time dining in MCDs. I’m not a huge fan of giving her fast food but when you’re on a holiday it’s bound to happen.
Wohoo, my first time at MCDs yo!
Compulsory mommy-baby selfie. My hurricane hair dryer literally blew a fuss in our hotel room so I had to resort to their itty bitty sorry excuse of a hair dryer to dry my bushy hair…but the end result was pretty alright don’t you think?
Right, coz you can’t see how screwed up the back looks like that’s why!
Sairah’s first meal at MCDs gets a full thumbs up approval. But too bad it’s only applicable when (and IF we go) on holidays baby. And IF it rains too.
Man I think IF is probably the second most hated word after BUT. I love you…BUT!
We went for coffee at this cute lil cafe that has all things Duck-y! And I soo remember coming here during our first trip. It’s always good to go back to places that you’ve been years ago…also makes me feel blessed that I could go back here with the SAME man
No coffee for me you say? Fine..just gimme some milk woman.
Just walking around..
Once again, we went looking for a cafe we dropped by during our first trip and I cannot explain the excitment of seeing it still standing erected. Sometimes it’s the lil things that excite me, no idea why.
And of course, as you can tell, it’s the sweet stuff that excites my lil one.
You mean you got me cakeeeeeee???! Priceless expression.
There…a slice of rainbow mille crepe cake! I’ve not seen something like this in KL yet, have you? And yes it taste as good as it looks. Can.die.
@ our fav compulsory hang out – Black Canyon for dinner. Hair is wet coz I got lazy. What’s new. We took a tutuk to get here which explains the happy face on my child. She loves her tutuk rides. Can’t say it did much for my hair, as you can see… hmm.
The usual shopping after dinner.
B’fast in bed…literally. Coz the hubby was too cheap to top up for buffet, he resorted going to 7-11 next door to buy sandwiches. Which taste awesome so no regrets there. And oh best of all CHEAP!
I was SUPER excited to hear that a new mall (CM’s third mall yo) opened up 2 weeks ago when we got there. So apa lagi…straight away took a tuktuk and spent half a day walking around in Promenada.
At at their super big food court. And this is something I always make at home anyway….cashew chicken with rice!
Little one getting acquainted with Pad-Thai.
Coffee with caramel art! Take that foam art – you’re so yesterday.
Our pink rapper ride back to the hotel.
Saying bye to CM’s first super BIG mall.
More shopping @ Asunarm Market.
I was shocked beyond words when I saw her coz she looks exactly like my late grandmother!
I have no idea why that fat woman is taking photos of me!
We dined at this restaurant located in the market TWICE. You can’t miss it as it’s the first restaurant near the fish spa place and it’s always packed. For a reason of course.
What are they looking at?
What is HE looking at?!
Why the free show standing opposite the restaurant that’s why!
Heh, mom you say they’re not real ladies but why are their boobies bigger than yours?
But really, the reason why we dined here twice (besides the free show!) was coz food was REALLY good and they make such a mean red curry. Which only cost RM8. It definitely cost me more than RM8 to buy ingredients to make Thai food in KL. What sorcery is this.
Mommy and baby are always this serious when stuffing their face with good food. Different story if food is bad – all hell breaks loose
Happy satisfied diners. I give free kisses when I’m happy with my food.
Chillin at our hotel, the night before flying out. Holidays always make a great mommy-daddy-baby bonding time.
As usual our cheap flight out was super early so we were at the airport by 7 a.m.
Last stop at Black Canyon for quick breakfast.
So happy to know the government is finally taking actions against this.
The only family photo I”m afraid. I still have a slight phobia about strangers running off with my camera if I ask them to help take photos
Sairah – my lil traveller.
Hmpf I freaking hate morning flights! I could be sleeping in right about now.
Also I should add, this holiday was an extremely relaxing one coz we went for massages everyday. It would be a sin not to since they only cost a mere RM20 :D As usual we took turns for our body massage but we also managed to squeeze in a relaxing foot massage together with our baby girl in tow.
The lady was soo taken up by Sairah that she offered to teach the little one the art of massaging.
I’m so grateful to her coz guess who gets free massages at home now? Call it child labor if you want but hey, after my reading my painful birth story to bring this kid out, you’ll agree I deserve this one like totally.
Ok just kidding. My husband is in charge of that since he is the one reponsible :)
I love Thailand. That’s all I have to say.
