My husband hardly buys me any jewelry. The last he ever bought me a bling was back when I was preggie for Valentine’s day. Even that was a surprise! So it’s been close to 3 years of being jewelry-free. Not that I’m complaining coz quite frankly I would rather squeeze a bag or trip out of him, lol.
The other day, I randomly ran up to the display of Thomas Sabo in Gardens just to look see. I saw on their FB page about their new limited edition 2012 collection and did like what I saw. Some of the pieces reminded me of Tiffany’s but at the fraction of the price! Was contemplating on buying it on my own once bonus day draws, so decided to take a quick peek at the display window.
My little one was on her bestest behavior sitting on their sofa reading a magazine 
And pointing at random strangers…….you over there, bring me milk!
Then my husband asked the sales lady to take out the piece I like so I can touch it! And it was indeed love at first sight, not until she quoted me the price. I felt it was a little pricey for something that was silver. And on top of that, we had to purchase the chain separately.
So I told her I’d think about it and it was then she kept saying this was their last piece and if I were to walk away I might not get it.
Talk about being pressured to buy!
So again I told her I’ll be back (coz my discipline is really good thesedays I tell you) if I changed my mind and was about to walk out when bham, my husband gleefully tells her we’ll take it much to the sales lady’s delight.
Honestly whatever happened to let’s think about it FIRST and then purchase it. Coz you know what’s it like being a woman, you gotta check out almost everything else before deciding. The husband insist if I did that then I would never buy it. Plus he said he was feeling a lil generous and impulsive that night. Which is pretty rare!
This pendant is your typical girlie key pendant that I feel has some meaning to it. Someone asked what does it mean and I said I suppose it’s the key that locks my heart permanently, as in it’s only for him, lol.
It has a beautiful intricate design, which in my opinion is the nicest pendant in their special edition collection, ahem. What I love about it is you can buy another pendant and layer it on, just like their charm bracelets!
Anyway, this is the nicest romantic thing he has done this year (or at least in the past 6 months) for 2012, lol – buying something so spontenously without thinking twice since he knew his wifey liked it. Cleaning Sairah’s poo and changing her diaper ALL on his own as I got my pedicure on Sunday at the mall comes second!
So now I”m thinking, perhaps one fine day as we pass by Tiffany’s or Gucci for that matter, he might be feeling generous and impulsive maybe? Just kidding 
But that’s a thought I’d like to believe most woman don’t mind rolling with

Yea they have it here at la Lafayette Galerie I suppose.Another french brand I adore is Les Perles De Noa, Im sure you will like it too,now Anand must hate me for putting damages into his pocket again hah!:P

Why thanks, I’d like to think I do too but the lack of money makes it hard to keep up and buy more nicer things, hehe. You mean baby fashion consultant -would LOVE to – that one I can do for free! Hahaha, can la, you know how these things make me so excited! Ooh that is easy – just nag the crap out of him, lol. Actually all I did was ask him when was the last time you bought me jewerly as we parked the car in Gardens and the rest they say is history
