Legend Water Chalet, Port Dickson
22 Mar
We decided to go on a short road trip to Port Dickson, just to get away from the city for the weekend.
Heh, you can see my husband collecting his rod
We checked into Legend Water Chalet, which is a real good place to stay in PD. Why? Because for starters all their chalets are built on water stills
Nice? And if that’s not enough, the chalets were also pretty unique. When you open the door, you actually see the bath tub first!!! Yes, you walk straight into the bathroom before heading to the bedroom
Open air shower anyone? Although it’s a little tad creepy when you’re taking a shower at 2 a.m in the morning and can’t help but notice that ’something’ might be peeking at you from up there. Maybe it’s just me being weird! Still a good experience though.
And then you have the room, which was small but cozy and romantic for two. There’s also a day bed near the window if you wish to do some serious thinking or even read a book
The husband grabbed the camera and told me to give the cutest smile ever and so I did….I think, hahaha
Oh and the day bed is good for some weekend romancing too ;)
My only gripe about the room is that it doesn’t come with a proper dressing table in the room itself! Infact, there are no mirrors in the room at all. If you were not born with great hair (like me!), standing in front of the dressing table in the bathroom (that doesn’t come with a chair to sit on mind you) drying your hair can be quite annoying. And let’s not mention that it’s not cooling enough after a hot bath which I SO enjoy.
The other feature is the small but cute patio that overlooks the ocean.
Great place for fishing too. And I never knew the husband was into fishing – sometimes it’s amazing how we keep learning new things about our partners, even after years of being together. Well as long it’s the good stuff! And not something out there like how he used to like men before or along those lines, haha.
Nothing like a few drinks before bringing out the rod
And this went on even after dinner. The fishing, not the drinking
He didn’t managed to catch a single fish but that didn’t stop him from attempting it the next morning
Not feeling too happy that he couldn’t catch a single thing, poor baby!
Feeling a little dejected, we made our way home. And that’s also a sad face for leaving Legend Water Chalet so soon.
But guess what, I’m pretty sure we’ll be back soon because we spotted the Legend International Water Homes that comes with your own freaking private pool overlooking the ocean!!! How amazing is that?

I have never been to PD before,as i always thought that it was a boring place, now your pictures may just tell me otherwise….
I like the green background in the bedroom….have a great week ahead my dear and happy pregnanting too,,,
Eugene, you should take the missus and kids there. It’s true that there’s nothing much to do except makan and go to the beach which makes it a relaxing holiday
The green was definitely loud but soothing, hehe. Wishing you a great week ahead too and thanks!
Plenty of holiday destinations, this one’s on my list. Now all I need is a partner to go with on a romantic getaway.
Eugene, I can get this place at a cheaper price, let me know if you plan on going. And surely you already have a partner in mind

Hey girl, exactly! Nice place to unwind and it’s one hour away from KL. I can get it at a cheaper price so if you’re keen, just let me know okie.
never been to legend water challet. Look nice too. will try on next vacay!
Hi Mizzura,
I actually like the unit in Legend International Water Homes, esp the one with the own pool so if you have a big family you could get that one
It’s a nice place to unwind
Looks beautiful, the perfect place for people who love fishing, relaxing and some different food no doubt!
Indeed it’s a beautiful place and the perfect place to unwind
I’m reminiscing my own trip to Port Dickson and your blog helped do that well
Ours was an impulsive trip, so due to lack of rooms, we stayed one night at the Water Chalets and one night at the Water Homes. That turned out to be such a blessing! Both are unique in their own way, but you’re right, the private swimming pool with each room in the water homes is really amazing! Hope you go back there soon
Hey, I saw your post and man, the private pool is sooo tempting! I”m sure it cost quite a bomb too but I’ll probably go there one day just for the sake of having our private swimming pool
Awesome place indeed.
cantiknye tmpt ni…mmg plan nak g sini dlm bln 10 @ 11…btul ke blh dptkan harga murah….
menarik…tertarik…..
Memang cantik
Dan memang boleh dapat harga murah, cuba cari online untuk promo yang menarik. Happy holiday
I don’ think it is a place for fishing. Too shallow and the sea bed is muddy. No coral or reef.
Haha really? Was told that you can find some fish, infact at night people were fishing and I saw a few catch, but maybe coz the tide was high I suppose. Anyway, it kept the hubby busy, fish or no fish
