Travel Plan 2011

18 Nov

With Baby Sairah around, no doubt our travel plans have somewhat changed. I’ve decided to push all our travels to mid 2011, when she’s a bit bigger so it would be easier for my mom to take care of her while we’re away without feeling guilty :)

So this is what’s in store for 2011:

February - We shall be soaking up the sun and white sand in MALDIVES! It’s going to be a romantic trip but let’s just hope I don’t come home preggers, tee hee.

July - A short weekend trip to Langkawi. Been there a couple of times when we were dating - I’m soo going to see if we can secure the same hotel on the beach :D  Definitely will be loading up on the duty-free booze (and try to sneak in a few bottles home) and chocolates!!

August – BALI BALI BALI! When we first explored Bali in 2008, I told the hubby that we SHOULD sooo make it a yearly affair. A year and a half later, we were there again (a day after I found out I was pregnant) for his birthday and again I told him – let’s make this a yearly affair! And what do you know – it does appear that the Bali trip IS fast becoming a yearly vacation, wohooo.  This time around I’ll get to have my favorite drink AND will be taking that bungee jumping plunge, wohoo :D

October – Another short local trip to Kuala Terengganu / Perhentian a day after my birthday!

Tickets have been booked for ALL our trips, now just have to wait for 2011 – just another 1.5 months to go. Can’t believe we’re almost at the end of 2010.

Will we be bringing Sairah along for any one of those trips? Hmm….so far my little baby girl is one heck of a curious baby and she just LOVES it when a new environment is introduced to her (I sniff a thirsty traveller in this one) so who knows, she just might tag along provided she’s easier to handle then :D

Nice! I haven’t had any travelling for leisure in the last year and no plan for next except that going-back-to-Sabah-for-Raya trip la.. I’m excited for your Maldives trip! Want to go there one day too!

Ah, travel is awesome. Good for you :)

I’m hoping to make my first trip to India next year. My Mom is going and I haven’t traveled with her in ages so it would be awesome if I could go along.

Oh I’ll be in Malaysia sometime April – would love to meet up :)

Making a trip to Bali for a week in Dec. Gonna be staying at Seminyak -> Ubud -> Nusa Dua.

    Any nice recommendations? :D

    • TheMissusBlogs 22. Nov, 2010 at 5:06 pm #

You’re going before me! Are you planning on changing hotels between seminyak and nusa dua? Coz there’s nothing much to do in Nusa Dua (just high end hotels for couples and perhaps water sports) so perhaps you could stay in Seminyak and make a day travel to Nusa Dua for its beach. For Ubud – just stay at the place I stayed. Even Tegal Sari got good reviews – so that’s one place to consider. A club by the beach called Ku De Ta has excellent reviews. Or you could go to the clubs we went to for some hard core clubbing la. If you need specific recommendations just let me know :)

Yes can’t wait to go there next Friday!!! But unfortunately it’s the monsoon season…. hence cheaper prices….

        I’m staying at these places:
Seminyak – Bali Mulia Villas (2 nights)
Ubud – Gaya Villas (2 nights)
Nusa Dua – Ayodya Villas (3 nights)

Yeh that’s the precise reason why I wanna spend 3 nights at Nusa Dua…. TO DO NOTHING and just chillax =D

OOOO nice, I see you’ve booked villas for your entire trip ;) Enjoy Bali with your gf Eugene. It’s a very romantic place! Btw if you need contacts for tour guides/transportation, let me know! Can’t wait to see the photos.

WHOA. I was thinking, if baby Sairah isn’t following mommy and daddy, her babysitter sure is gonna “charge” a bomb.

I reckon a souvenir from each trip should suffice, lol. What are family members for eh? :)
