Chicken Kiev
3 Mar
Monday night was Chicken Kiev night.
Because sometime ago, while using the microwave at the apartment to make sure the meat was really cooked, the garlic butter popped out loudly from the chicken’s breast and scared the chicken out of me. And although the hubby said it was good I felt like I still had to prove what a delicious meal this really is – with the damn garlic butter stuffing intact.
So it was then it was decided that this must be made at mom’s (coz she has an oven, duh) to impress, and thankfully it turned out lovely – breaded chicken stuffed with garlic butter served with a side of mashed potato and chinese-style broccolis.
See how the rich garlic butter melts and oozes as you cut into the tender bits of the chicken breast? Heavenly!
Now, tell me if this isn’t a cure for the Monday Blues and I’ll make you a Kiev.
P.s: I want an oven!
P.s.s: What the F is Chicken Kiev you ask? Nah, go see recipe here but just promise me you’ll avoid using the microwave at all cost.
