Happiness Is…

5 Jul

From my 22 month old’s perspective….

Happiness is making your own set of music

And banging away on a set of drums without a care in the world

Which may not necessarily be on the exact beat as others but in life it’s good to have your very own rhythm.

The cost: RM38 per class and mommy and daddy’s effort in waking up early and driving all the way to the venue.

Happiness is running around aimlessly exploring new surroundings on her own.

For full effect, it has to be without holding  mom or dad’s hands.

No one’s gonna stop me now.

For am I a FREE bird!

The cost: Free with the exception of mommy and daddy getting tired from running after her and being worried incase she runs off too far on her own.

Happiness is exploring all kinds of cars that goes vrom vrom

And it doesn’t matter even if it’s just a cardboard one :D

Brief happiness to a random stranger could be hoping into a car and finding an Indian baby sitting next to you :D Buy one car, free one baby!

And a brief happiness to a child could be the joy from sitting in the front seat of a luxurious car

The cost: Free but at the expensive of annoying the poor salesmen for plonking her ass in the car when there might be other rich customers who are keen to check out the car and maybe say purchase it.

And the mother of all happiness

CHOCOLATE CAKE

Because nothing else and I mean NOTHING else can evoke such a happy satisfied feeling than a yummy slice of chocolatey goodness. You cannot go wrong with a slice of chocolate cake! NEVER.

Behold, the power of a good chocolate cake.

Can I have somemore pleaseee…

The cost: RM10 @ Coffee Societe, Solaris Dutamas.

Multiple happiness achieved all in a day, it’s hardly a myth – it is possible :) And best of all, all under RM50 for that, haha.

What would I not give to be a child again.

And now I”m craving for some yummy chocolate cake :D

Awww, so nice! It’s amazing how so little can cause them so much happiness right? My boy gets a thrill from just watching the traffic lights turn from red to green… For his sake i wait and extra 5 seconds at the lights to loudly exclaim together wt him “green light! green light! yeay!!” Who cares if people honk :-)
BTW I love her pocoyo top. I think u should get her some more.. ;-)

I know right? So much we can learn from them. LOL that is so cute but don’t think those waiting in line at the back of you will be too happy, hehe but for the sake of our kids who cares eh? Thanks, thanks to you for telling me……..they have more boy tops than girl but will check em out again and see :)

Ah, 5 seconds wont kill them, they can wait :-) Anyway this is normally within our housing area only so touchwood so far no honks…
I think we all can learn from kids, to slow down a little and smell the roses instead of just trudging along day after day….

Hehehe true that! Yes most definitely, if they can see joy with the simplest of things then we should learn to do that too :) Well except for empty bottles coz I still dont know why they get excited over empty bottles, LOL.

We adults keep chasing after things that we think may make us happy, but actually happiness is very much attainable – if only we could be content we would see that happiness can be found easily!

Just love this post very much!

yay, music classes! So much cheaper in KL, Laura’s baby classes costs about RM65 per 45mins! But worth the interaction/ social exposure she gets :)

    • TheMissusBlogs 10. Jul, 2012 at 11:09 am #

Wow RM65 is rather steep! Here in Malaysia, there are high end ones (RM100 per class) and the cheaper ones like Musikhaus but like you said, it’s worth the investment :)
