I’ve always read books growing up, mainly horror and non-fiction being on the top list. I remember how back then I would sit in my room and finish up one thick book in just a day!! I’d rent the books at Rent-A-Book in Bangsar because it’s economical that way
When I started going to college, my reading habits dwindled to zero. University text books don’t count right? It almost felt like I had a bunch of other important things to do than pick up a book to read.
After getting pregnant, somehow the reading habit or rather thirst to read crept in and I’ve been buying some books online. I got them for around RM25 as compared to RM40 from bookstores A good investment I say.
I’ve already finished If You Could See Me Now (by CeceliaAhern) and Hidden, written by such an awesome author – Cathy Glass. She is a foster carer in real and her books are based on the true stories of various kids she fostered.
I’ve completely fallen in love with her books so much that I went and got 2 other books written by her.
I’m currently reading Cut – every chapter prompts me to read the next, which explains why I sleep quite late these days!
My mom also got me this baby book which I’ve been religious reading. Obviously I am also thankful that my mom will be there helping me when the baby comes
Reading is probably the best thing to do on a weekend!
