Dreamz @ Genting Highlands
22 Sep
I’m absolutely so exhausted and sick
Yet another weekend away from KL.
Went to Genting Highland for a night on Saturday but before that, a berbuka puasa session with Shera and Madhu on Friday at Persia Restaurant @ Ampwalk for good food at our favourite restaurant.
Food food o glorious food
Minced Chicken Kebab
Minced Lamb Chicken Kebab
The Art of Shisha-ing
Hubby proudly showing Shera how it’s done – watch and learn buddy
First you get acquainted to it, you touch it, feel it and play with it.
Then you put it in your mouth, suck it and savour the taste & smell
And then you exhale, you must must exhale
But there comes a point when…
When we exhale, yeah yeah
Say, shoop, shoop, shoop…
All you gotta do is say shoop, shoop, shoop…
My Lord now, shoop, shoop…
Rule of Shisha-ing
If you’re a guy, just absolutely don’t ever get caught looking like you’re enjoying sucking it. More so if people think you’re straight
Rightttt Suresh?
Genting Highlands
Our hotel: Theme Park Hotel
Hubby and I usually stay in the pigeon hole they call First World Plaza Hotel. But this time around we managed to get the rooms super cheap at Theme Park Hotel. With free breakfast okay? Yay Yay for luck.
I think they underwent some renovations recently so I present you the NEW and IMPROVED Theme Park Hotel
Fairly large room with a big clean bathroom. I likey.
Nappy Time
The View
*waves* Hello folks at the pigeon hole Hotel
A quick cam-whore moment
Ok I’m done cam-whoring. Can we go get the Dreamz ticket now puhleezeee? Yup, the classic puppy dog look that gets him what he wants
Yay yay. Tickets to watch Dreamz. Told you.
Okay I admit, I’ve been eyeing Dreamz ever since they started playing in GH early this year.
We came, we saw and we didn’t like it! Disappointing and totally over-rated. Even the white lion couldn’t save the show. On the flip side, at least we got the front row tickets for only RM82 as opposed to paying RM150 like the rest of them. Hah.
Sorry no pictures coz photography are strictly prohibited during the show. Maybe coz they don’t want to show the rest of the world how bad it is!
Wannabe bad magician for a minute. Now if only he could go poof on the days I’m annoyed with him
The boys wanted some bumping action (not that kind!) so off we went for a bumper car session with the rest of the kids in the Indoor Theme Park
The boys all anxious for their turn
Rules to Bump
1)Look for the seat belt. In their case, the buffaloes were sitting on it
2) Buckle up and pray that it fits you
3) Ready, get set, Bump Bump Bump it up
We were the only adults playing with the kids so naturally the little ones found some thrill in bumping off the adults. Either way, I got into my favourite pink bumper car so all’s good. We survived.
Wish we had more time to check out the rides (again!), but that’s okay, been there done that like a few times this year already. GH is after all only 50 minutes away from where we live. Can’t help but reminisce how as a kid, GH seemed so far away and a luxury to go to.
And another reason we came to GH, to win some money. Show me the moneeeey!
The boys strategizing while enjoying their coffee
You guys strategize while I enjoy my Xi Mut Milk Tea. Heavenly.
How to win BIG money – By Suresh.
Alas, it was a strategy that failed miserably.
Spent some time gambling and most of the time, watched others gamble.
The amount of people gambling away is overwhelming. Can’t help but wonder if the money they are betting on are their entire lives saving or perhaps a friendly loan from Ah Longs? Scares me that they bid and lose BIG money in just one game while I cringe every time I lose RM5!
Besides, the house always wins! Even if they do win big, they’re bound to lose it within an hour – human greed and the non ability to walk away with your current wins. Ah well.
We played small, lost quit a bit at first then managed to gain some so the end results:
Total Profit
Me: RM25
MIL:RM35
BIL:Negative RM50
And the Winner:
Hubby: Negative RM200
He got all sulky that he lost his $, lol. Had to convince him to chill out, that there are other worse things in life – like losing RM300 instead?
And one thing that annoyed me silly, why on earth do some people think it’s okay to dress up like it’s bloody winter??? They look so STUPID in their boots, cap, thick winter jackets and not to forget the scarves and other ridiculous winter gear. It’s barely cold in GH except when we were walking back to the hotel from the casino at 4a.m
It’s SO not cool folks!
Hubby says that these bozos look like they’ve perhaps never even been out the country in their entire life and I think he’s spot on.
Ah what a weekend, bozos aside. Now it’s back to work. But then again, I’m going to be on MC tomorrow coz I’m sick, honest!
